Parents and carers
As a parent of a pupil at Brill School, there are many ways you can get involved in the life of the school. In addition to lots of opportunities to come into school and see what is going on both the PTA and Parent Council offer ways to contribute.
There is a very active Parent Teacher Association which offers considerable support through fundraising events such as Quiz Nights, Summer Balls and Fetes, regular evening events for the children such as ‘Film Night’ and the Art-On-The-Hill event at which local artists, and children, exhibit and sell their work at the school. PTA events have a wide appeal and help to involve the community in the school. If you would be interested in supporting the PTA, please contact the school office.
The Parent Council is a representative group of parents who:
- provide parental input to the school improvement process
- obtain and share parental feedback on school initiatives
- highlight general areas which parents would like the school to consider
- decide areas about which parental views will be actively sought
