International School Award

Award celebrates our “outstanding development of the international curriculum” Before Christmas, Brill School’s own Madame Tate was a guest of honour at the British Council, London, as she accepted re-accreditation of our International School status (pictured, right, with Sir Ciaran Devane, CEO of the British Council). The award recognises outstanding commitment to embedding an international dimension through curriculum-based work.
From our provision of two modern foreign languages (French and Spanish), to our active links with schools across the globe, not to mention the annual French nativity or the trip to Normandy in Year 6, Madame Tate has been instrumental in forging relationships abroad and bringing languages to life for Brill School children. Aside from spearheading our busy International Week each year, she has also ensured that, like children before them, Year 1 recently enjoyed a full French breakfast in class. Bravo, Madame Tate!
