As the PTA (Parents Teachers Association) we form a partnership with the school to work closely together on projects to help raise money to enhance the school's facilities and the children's learning. We also liaise with the school about what the money raised will be spent on.

A huge amount of money is raised each year for the School through PTA events.  We currently put on a wide variety of events including Art on the Hill and Big Brill Camp, and smaller events such as the quiz, film nights and the Christmas party for the children.

Parents can also raise funds by signing up to easy fundraising, and the Vale Lottery.

Volunteers are always welcome whether joining the committee or simply helping out at events or just baking some cakes, any help is always appreciated however little it may seem.  If you wish to contact us or have an idea for an event, you can always contact Bobs at, via our Facebook page , or come and have a chat with one of us in the playground at drop off or pick up.

Successful Film Night

ptapage on: PTA Blog

A huge well done to the School Council for organising a fantastic film night. A great time was had by all. All their hard work certainly paid off and the film promotion dressed as Trolls in the playground created a real buzz amongst the kids. On the night the School Council worked so hard, first setting up the hall and the photo booth they had sourced themselves as well as blowing up balloons and hanging bunting. They also worked tirelessly pouring drinks, popping popcorn, looking after all involved and then making sure the hall was spotless at the end.

A big thank you to all the parents who volunteered to help with the evening. Your help is incredibly appreciated by all, making it possible for the event to go ahead. Also to Miss Reynolds and the invaluable help she gave both before and during the event, giving up her precious time to make sure everything ran so smoothly.

Christmas Nativity

ptapage on: PTA Blog

Before the Christmas break Foundation and Key Stage One had their nativity play. In conjunction with this the PTA ran refreshments at the performances as well as selling the nativity DVD and photos. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped with these, including those who were serving teas, made biscuits, took photos, filmed the performance and worked tirelessly behind the scenes. All these combined made £834.43 which will be put towards new smart boards for every classroom

Christmas Party

ptapage on: PTA Blog

On behalf of the PTA I would like to say a big thank you to the team that organised the Christmas party as well as those who helped out on the night; face painting, behind the bar, in the kitchen and on the stall. It looked like the children had a fantastic time; dancing, eating hotdogs, waving glow sticks, finger torches and rings as well as having a visit from Father Christmas. What a great way to finish off the term and to top it off the event raised an incredible £877.65 which will be put towards new smart boards for every classroom.
